Securing media coverage on global trends in skills-based hiring strategies

TestGorilla is the world’s largest skills‑tested talent pool. The global SaaS platform assesses any candidate with 350+ science‑backed tests, video interviews, AI scoring.

Key challenges 

  • As media relations partners, our brief was to use the Skills Based Hiring 2024 report as a springboard to secure media interest for TestGorilla. We were targeted with securing 15+ pieces of high-profile coverage within media publications with a domain rating above 70.

The work 

  • We developed five media angles to maximise pitching opportunities.

  • These press releases were pitched to media journalists across national, trade, and business news.

  • We also sourced podcast feature opportunities for TestGorilla’s CEO to enhance reach of the report and support personal branding.

The impact 

  • As a result of our pitching, we secured 42 pieces of media coverage and 2 podcast opportunities.

  • 11 pieces of this coverage were secured in publications with a domain authority of 70.
