Our B Corp commitment
Purplefish became a certified B Corporation in March 2022, joining a global movement using business as a force for good. At the time, we were one of just 760 UK companies to achieve the status.
In 2025, we proudly recertified with an improved score of 148.6, making us the highest-scoring B Corp communications agency in Bristol and wider South West. With over 2,000 certified B Corps now in the UK, we remain committed to driving positive impact through everything we do.

Why our B Corp impact report matters
Our B Corp Impact Report isn’t just a reflection of past achievements, it’s a blueprint for the future. With each passing year, we challenge ourselves to raise the bar. The 2024/25 edition demonstrates how we’re continuing to deliver real impact through our communications work, by embedding purpose at the heart of everything we do.
How our B Corp status shapes the way we work
Being a certified B Corp isn’t a badge - it’s a mindset.
Everything we do is grounded in the five pillars of the B Corp framework: Governance, Workers, Community, Environment and Customers. This holistic approach shapes our decision-making and the work we do for clients.
Whether we’re running a campaign, crafting brand narratives, or mentoring young professionals, our work reflects our belief in people-first, planet-conscious, purpose-driven growth.
What’s next: our commitments for the year ahead
The B Corp Impact Report also outlines our goals, including:
Advancing industry inclusivity through roundtables and skills development.
Accelerating towards net zero with a measurable roadmap for carbon reduction.
Expanding our community engagement and wellbeing initiatives.
Hosting PR masterclasses for charities to amplify their impact.
These goals are ambitious, but necessary, because responsible business is not a trend, it’s our future.
