Scaling a purpose-led tech brand through brand storytelling
Yuup is a marketplace for local experiences. Founded in 2021, it connects people with real-life experiences in their community, hosted by passionate local hosts, while providing a platform for local independent businesses to thrive.
Key challenges
Launched and established in Bristol, the Yuup experience platform was ready to scale across the UK. While the business had built a significant audience within its original city, it was an unknown entity in other locations. Having selected Brighton as its next location, it was time to launch the brand there with a bang, raising awareness of its values-led business model, and connecting local people with its unique offer.
The work
Having worked closely with the Yuup team to promote larger scale drone shows throughout 2023 and 2024, we brought our rich understanding of their brand to create an integrated media strategy to help launch their platform in Brighton. Following the successful delivery of a drone light show, it was time to capitalise on the relationships built with journalists and the community. What better way to demonstrate the Yuup offer than to invite journalists and influencers to come and experience a variety of activities themselves.
