Raising the profile of Homefinder UK: creating a robust plan to help launch its impact report
Homefinder UK helps individuals find permanent social housing outside their local area for homeless households and other social housing applicants.
Key challenges
Homefinder UK wanted to showcase their nationwide success in rehousing those most in need.
To announce their success, Homefinder UK was looking for social media support, the creation of a 2024/25 Impact Report, and a short animation.
The work
We secured significant media coverage in trade housing titles, spreading awareness of the 1,800+ vulnerable households that gained permanent housing via Homefinder UK.
After working closely with the Homefinder UK team to secure key stats and information, we got to work drafting the copy for the impact report. After the copy was approved, we designed a dynamic Impact Report, filled with case studies from previous applicants, standout figures and staff testimonials.
We delivered a storyboard and created a 1 and a half minute long animation, showcasing the impact of temporary housing, and the solution Homefinder UK provides.
Our team interviewed and recorded a variety of staff members for social content to gain insight into why Homefinder UK is so important to tackling the 100 year waiting list for housing.
The impact
We successfully helped Homefinder UK to publish and launch their Impact Report. Promotion of the report was bolstered by supporting social content to encourage website traffic.
Our media coverage landed in titles such as Housing Executive, Property Reporter, Newstart Magazine and Net Mag Media. The coverage totalled to a reach of over 67K.
